Our Services
We offer a variety of services intended to help our clients remain in the comfort of their own homes. Our personalized care plans ensure that each client’s specific needs are met. Companions are available on either a full time or part time basis, and we offer driving services in the comfort of a company car. Our services are covered by many long term care insurance policies.
Driving Services
Companion will use a company-owned vehicle to transport Senior to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands. Companion assists Senior in and out of vehicle when necessary.
All company vehicles are insured.
Assistance With Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
Basic ADL:
Companion helps Senior with the basic activities of daily living:
Bathing
Dressing and undressing
Eating
Transferring from bed to chair, and back
Voluntarily control urinary and fecal discharge
Using the toilet
Walking (unless Senior is bedridden)
Instrumental ADL:
Companion helps Senior with the instrumental activities of daily living:
Light Housework(cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
Preparing meals
Medication reminders
Shopping for groceries or clothes
Using the telephone
Laundry Help
Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and putting away client’s garments, clothes, bed linens, and kitchen linens.
